Our story

From a single-category workshop to a full-category manufacturer

SoleForge began in 2009 in Ouhai District, Wenzhou, where generations of footwear know-how, component suppliers and tooling shops sit within a few kilometers of each other. We started focused on a single construction, learned to do it well, and grew by adding categories only once we could engineer and quality-control them properly.

That discipline is why brands trust us with mixed programs today. Rather than chasing every trend, we invested in a development room, repeatable processes and an audited quality system. The result is a manufacturer that can take a product category from concept through sample development and into stable bulk production — with the same specification every reorder.

We work directly with procurement managers, brand owners and importers. There is no agent layer between you and the people who build your shoes, which keeps communication fast and accountability clear from the first quote through delivery.

Manufacturing scale

What we can build, and how we keep it consistent

A capacity of 2M+ pairs per year across six categories means little without process. Here is how the floor is organized.

Development & tooling

In-house pattern, last and mold development with a sample room that turns briefs into confirmed samples in days, not weeks.

Multi-construction lines

Cemented, vulcanized, injection (EVA/PU), strobel and welted constructions across athletic, casual, safety, leather and seasonal footwear.

Quality & testing

Incoming material checks, inline inspection and pre-shipment AQL, backed by SGS / ITS testing for abrasion, bonding, slip and chemical compliance.

Export-ready logistics

Flexible terms — FOB Ningbo / Shanghai, EXW, CIF, or DDP — with carton, labeling and documentation prepared for international retail and distribution.

Quality & compliance

Compliance our customers can verify

Importing footwear means standing behind safety, durability and chemical compliance. Our quality program is built so you can hand buyers and auditors real documentation, not promises.

We welcome client visits and third-party audits, and we maintain inspection records, approved-sample references and test reports for every confirmed style. See it applied step by step in our manufacturing process.

How we operate

The principles behind a reliable OEM partner

Reliability is not a slogan — it is a set of operating choices. These are ours.

01

Engineer first, then make

Every program starts on the bench — lasts, construction, BOM and tolerances are defined before a line is loaded. It is slower at the start and far more reliable at scale.

02

Documentation is the product

We treat tech packs, approved samples and inspection records as deliverables. A confirmed style at SoleForge can be reordered a year later and built the same way.

03

Audited, not assumed

Compliance is verifiable: ISO-based systems, BSCI-audited facilities and third-party lab testing on request, so our customers can stand behind what they import.

04

One partner, fewer handoffs

Running six categories in-house means brands consolidate suppliers, cut coordination overhead and keep a single accountable point of contact.
