Kids' Footwear — common questions

What child-safety standards do you test to?+

We build and test to EN 71-3 (migration of elements), CPSIA (lead/phthalate limits) for the US, and REACH for the EU, using phthalate-free and chrome-free materials. We provide third-party SGS/ITS reports for your compliance records.

Do you make soft-soled first-walker shoes?+

Yes. For pre-walkers and early walkers we use ultra-flexible, soft soles and breathable, washable uppers that protect developing feet, then move to more structured but still high-flex soles for toddlers and older kids.

Can you add LED light-up soles or character designs?+

Yes. We integrate LED light-up midsoles (motion or step activated), molded 3D characters, and custom graphics. We'll develop original character-style designs to your brief rather than copying licensed IP unless you hold the license.

How do you handle the wide size range across age blocks?+

Children's sizing spans EU 20–39, so we typically grade a model across age blocks (first-walker, toddler, kids, youth) using age-appropriate lasts. MOQ can be split across age blocks and colorways.

Are your kids' shoes easy for children to put on themselves?+

Yes. We favor hook-and-loop straps, bungee laces, and elastic slip-ons with wide openings so children can manage them independently, which is a strong selling point for parents and schools.
