Footwear Materials — Soles & Uppers We Manufacture
The performance, durability, and feel of a shoe is decided at the material level. SoleForge molds midsoles and outsoles and cuts and stitches uppers in-house — engineering the full material stack to your category, price, and compliance targets.

Buyer guidance
How to spec the right materials
Start from the use case
Lead with how and where the shoe is worn — running, daily casual, factory floor, dress — and we map it to the right midsole foam, outsole compound, and upper material. The category drives every material trade-off.
Balance feel, durability & cost
Lighter foam, premium full-grain, or a tougher rubber compound each shifts the landed price. We surface a costed bill of materials during development so you can trade look and performance against margin before committing.
Lock compliance early
Tell us your target markets so we can spec REACH-compliant materials and arrange SGS/ITS testing for abrasion, slip, and restricted substances — avoiding customs and retail-audit surprises at import.
Put it into production

From athletic and casual sneakers to safety and dress shoes — every category draws on these material and customization options.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
Practical answers for procurement and brand teams scoping a footwear program.
Can you combine different materials in one shoe program?+
Yes — most programs mix materials: a Phylon or EVA midsole, a rubber outsole, and a leather, knit, or mesh upper. We engineer the full stack so the pieces bond, fit, and perform together, and keep the spec documented for repeat orders.
Do you source the materials or do I supply them?+
We source and manage materials in-house as standard, which keeps cost and lead time controlled. If you have a nominated supplier or specific component, we can work with buyer-supplied materials by agreement.
Are your materials REACH-compliant and testable?+
Yes. Foams, rubbers, leathers, and textiles can be supplied REACH-compliant, with SGS or ITS testing for restricted substances, abrasion, and slip resistance arranged per order and market.
What's the minimum order when custom materials are involved?+
Our standard MOQ is 500 pairs per style and color. Custom-molded soles or bespoke materials may add a one-time tooling or development cost that's amortized across the order and reused for repeats.
